You can now simply set up a direct debit facility for Umbrella on mycharity.ie – simply go to donate, click on direct debit and scroll down to The Umbrella Foundation!

Umbrella Volunteer Vodafone World of Difference Winner!

The Umbrella Foundation were delighted and proud of one our volunteers Ciara Tallon to be one of this years Vodafone’s World of Difference winners. The programme offers 30 people the chance to take a 3 month paid placement with an Irish charity of their choice.

Each successful applicant receives €5,000 for the 3 month placement, and the Vodafone Foundation also pays their PRSI, plus an administration fee to each chosen charity.

CONOR GRENNAN’S BOOK ‘LITTLE PRINCES’ LAUNCHES IN IRELAND

Conor’s book charts his experiences in Nepal and working with Umbrella to help the children of Nepal. The book so far has generated great interest in Umbrella from the States and Canada to date. We look forward to creating more awareness and interest in Ireland and help generate more fund raising and volunteers.
